Golden Capital Disciplined Small Cap

The objective of the Golden Capital Disciplined Small Cap strategy is to construct an optimized portfolio of companies to consistently outperform the Russell 2000 Index in up and down markets while maintaining benchmark-like characteristics and minimizing the risk of underperformance.

An Active-Quant approach to research and portfolio construction combines the merits of quantitative methods and qualitative validation. Fundamental research is carried out systematically using a quantitative investment framework. The team's proprietary Total Composite Model ranks stocks based on valuation, earnings, and trading momentum. The rankings help the team identify companies that are unsustainably cheap, meaning undervalued with the potential to deliver future earnings improvements in excess of current analysts' expectations. Qualitative review of stocks and their fit within the portfolio is also integral to the decision-making process.
