Wells Fargo completed the acquisition of Wachovia Corporation. The acquisition brought Evergreen Investments into WFAM. Evergreen's core, traditional teams joined the array of diverse and autonomous teams within WellsCap.
Wells Fargo acquired the assets and investment teams of Strong Financial Corporation (Strong). Strong's mutual funds merged into Wells Fargo Funds, and the Strong investment teams and separate account assets became part of WellsCap.
